How is my information protected?

Sensitive personal information that could compromise our customers’ identities and/or banking information is not stored on our system. Transactions completed within the system are executed with tokenization encryption meaning that they pass through multiple transformative screening filters before reaching intended recipients. This ensures that payment information, including bank accounts and credit cards, is not passed from one customer to another. Furthermore, all user information in the Fit to Rent system is presented anonymously to other users unless our valued customers elect to make themselves known to each other. This is the least invasive, most secure, and personalized way to rent on the market today.
Is there a cost for this service?
We charge customers only when we deliver value. For tenants, we authenticate their credentials with a personalized Rent Mandate Report to help them get noticed by landlords. In the next phase of F2R, we will help landlords find the tenants of their dreams. No matter which group you fall into, we save you more time and money than anyone else will. Promise!
What if I’m both a tenant and a landlord?
Currently, you’ll be asked to set up separate tenant and landlord accounts. You can use the same financial information, but you’ll have to use different emails to route your correspondence depending on whether you’re acting as a tenant or a landlord.
How can I improve my F2R score?
Each step of our profile creation process is intended to enhance your score and make you more desirable to owners in your destination market. The more steps you complete, the more your score increases and the more you stand out from the crowd. Make landlords compete for you by completing as many of the steps as possible in order to boost your score.
What does it mean to create a mandate?
Once you’ve completed your profile and have received a preliminary score, you can enter your desired property characteristics to start notifying landlords in your destination market of your impending move. You can share your desired property characteristics and expected lease timing anonymously with landlords who have properties that meet your criteria. Once you find a landlord you trust and a place you want, share your personalized report, transfer your security deposit and start planning to move in!
How do I use the Rent Mandate Reports I receive?
Any way you want. They’re yours to own! But our recommendation would be to send the anonymous version of the report to listings you’re unsure about and the personalized version to landlords about whom you’re more certain.
How do I handle the Security Deposit aspect of my rent mandate?
Posting a security deposit clearly demonstrates that you’re ready to rent and gets you noticed by prospective landlords. During the onboarding process, we recommend that you post a deposit equal to or greater than your desired rent amount. You can adjust the amount or request a full refund at any time. How do I interpret a Rent Mandate Report?
Rent Mandate reports provide a comprehensive picture of a rental party’s responsibility, reliability, and overall rental readiness. They come in two forms: Anonymous and Personalized versions. Anonymous versions may be shared by interested tenants who don’t yet know you while Personalized versions are often shared after a tenant has become more familiar with you and feels comfortable sharing personal information. Tenants possessing a Rent Mandate Fitness Report have been fully vetted by our screening technologies and are prepared to act fast on a rental property of their choice.
